Buvettes around Basel

Looking to end your Summer with some beautiful sunsets and an Aperol Spritz by the Rhein? Look no further than this guide! This is a list of my favorite Buvettes in Basel. This guide is something I would like to add to over time as well. So stay tuned.

Here you can find a map of all the locations I suggest in this article.

Open from June-September

Great place to enjoy an Aperol Spritz! It's located conveniently just at the base of the Basler Münster. I recommend taking the Leu Fähre, the ferry that takes you across the Rhein, afterward.

Open from March-October (weather permitting)

If you want to sit outside and enjoy the Rhein from the Klein Basel side, Flora Buvette may be the right place for you! If you are going for a Rhein swim, this is the perfect location to get out of the Rhein to enjoy some drinks and snacks.

This is a great Buvette if you are looking for a place to barbecue to grill your own food next to the Rhein. They serve coffee, beer, soft drinks, and snacks.

Open from 11am-11pm

This is another great spot to hit after a swim in the Rhein! This place has a lot of different seating options. They serve drinks and snacks. Often you will be serenaded by a local busker here.

Open from April to September, 11am-10pm (weather permitting)

This Mediterranean Buvette is located in St. Alban-Tal near the Basler Stadtmauer. They serve pinsa, a variation of pizza, and a wide selection of drinks.
